Nepal and Vietnam could collaborate in promotion of agriculture and tourism business: DPM Shrestha

KATHMANDU, April 29: The government has aimed to collaborate with Vietnamese investors in Nepal’s tourism and agriculture sector.


In a meeting with Non-residence Ambassador of Vietnam to Nepal, Nguyen Thanh Hai, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the government is ready to facilitate investors from Vietnam to invest in Nepal.

Thanh Hai said they have been looking forward to start direct flight from Vietnam to Nepal. Citing a large number of visitors from Vietnam coming to Nepal, the Vietnamese envoy said they are interest to boost tourism through mutual cooperation of two countries.


The Vietnamese envoy in the sideline of the Nepal Investment Summit-2024 on Monday expressed his view. Honorary Consul General of Nepal to Vietnam Rajesh Kaji Shrestha attended the bilateral meeting.
