KATHMANDU, July 6: The main opposition Nepali Congress has slammed the government for revoking its decision to carry out pesticide testing for vegetables and fruits from India.
Issuing a press statement, the NC has criticized the government for taking immature decision related to the health of the citizens.
In the statement issued by the spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma, the party has demanded the government to issue a clear opinion regarding the issue. The party has condemned the government for showing a dual face and irresponsible attitude toward the citizens’ health.
