'NC should lead next govt'

KOHALPUR (BANKE), Aug 15: Nepali Congress (NC) central working committee member Badri Pandey has said that his party should get an opportunity to lead the next government.



Addressing a daylong training programme organised by the Nepal Students´ Union (NSU) Bageshwori Campus Unit, Kohalpur for its members on Sunday, Pandey said that the NC, the second largest party in the Constituent Assembly, should get a chance to lead the next the government. [break]



The UCPN (Maoist), the single largest party in the CA and the CPN (UML), the third largest party have already lead the government, added Pandey.



NC Banke president Dr Arun Koirala, outgoing president Krishnaman Shrestha, NC Bajura president Man Bahadur Rawat, NSU district president Prakash Sigdel and NC district member Teknarayan Bhusal were among those expressing their opinions at the program.
