NC Joint General Secretary Rathore elected from Banke-3

BANKE, Nov 24: Joint General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC) Kishore Singh Rathore has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Banke-3. He was elected by a margin of 4,793 votes.

BANKE, Nov 24: Joint General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC) Kishore Singh Rathore has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Banke-3. He was elected by a margin of 4,793 votes.


According to the Office of Chief Returning Officer, Rathore secured 29,000 votes while his nearest rival Kismat Kumar Kashpati of CPN-UML got 24,247 votes.

Similarly, Devendra Nath Shukla of Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 7,439 votes while Noyendra Dhital of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) got 4,287 votes.


A total of 73,989 votes were cast in Banke 3 that has a total of 113,322 voters. A total of 5,077 votes were declared invalid. Nine candidates were in fray from Banke-3.
