NC General Convention: Closed-door session resumes

KATHMANDU, March 5: The closed-door session that started yesterday has resumed on Saturday on the third-day of the ongoing 13th General Convention on the Nepali Congress.



At the session underway at Bhirkuti Mandap, NC District Presidents are airing their views on papers presented by General Secretary, Treasurer and policy and programs of the party.

The session started from 9 am this morning and has been divided into two parts – from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 6 pm.


The closed-door session on Friday had amended a party statute provision to elect two members from each of the seven provinces. Earlier, the party used to elect one member each from the 14 zones. The same number has now been converted into 14 members to be elected from the seven provinces.
