JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 23 (RSS): A common candidate of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Rastriya Janata Party (RJP), Tulasa Kumari Dahal, has been elected the National Assembly member from Province 2.

According to the election office here, Dahal secured 5,208 votes while her nearest rival Nagina Yadav got 4,740 votes. Yadav is the common candidate of Nepali Congress and Federal Socialist Party.
