A total of 80 athletes of different 16 districts and two departmental teams—Nepal Police and Nepal Army are participating in the competition, said Secretary of the Association, Pradeep Khati.
Men and women athletes would compete in 10 meters air rifle and pistol in the competition being held at a shooting range of Satdobato-based International Sports Complex.
The winner of the four-day competition will get Rs. 10,000 and runner-up will get Rs. 5,000 and shields.
Inaugurating the competition, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, Yubaraj Lama, said that sports infrastructures building at different places across the country for sports capacity building of players have been put in priority.
