‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ announces cover competition in Nepal

Hollywood film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ has announced a cover song competition for the Nepali audience. The competition is jointly organized by two distribution companies—20th Century Fox and Apple Entertainment. Participants of the competition should make cover of any one song of British rock band ‘Queen’, according to a press release issued today.

Hollywood film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ has announced a cover song competition for the Nepali audience. The competition is jointly organized by two distribution companies—20th Century Fox and Apple Entertainment. Participants of the competition should make cover of any one song of British rock band ‘Queen’, according to a press release issued today. 


‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is the biopic of Freddie Mercury, lead vocalist of the band.  The film is all set to be released on November 2.

Participants have to post their one-minute video on Facebook. According to Apple Entertainment, the collected songs will be judged on the basis of juries' vote. Winner of the competition will get a chance to share stage with any one well-known band of Nepal. 


‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ is directed by Bryan Singer. Role of Mercury is done by American actor Rami Malek who is a recipient of some of the prestigious awards including Critics and Golden Globe Award.
