Narayan Academy, Dreamland register wins

KATHMANDU, April 26: Narayan Academy and Dreamland School won their respective matches on Monday during the Third Chief of the Army Staff Inter-School Running Cricket Tournament being held at the BSAM Cricket Ground, Bhaktapur.



Narayan Academy defeated Mahendra Vidyashram by 53 runs.



Batting first, Narayan Academy put up 107 runs in limited 20 overs losing nine wickets.



Jeevan Lamsal scored 51 runs while Saroj Badal claimed four wickets. In reply, Mahendra Vidyashram were all out for 54 runs in 14.1 overs. Lamsal took three wickets and won the man-of-the- match award.



Likewise, Dreamland beat Bhanubhakta Memorial School by 46 runs. Piyush Gautam scored 62 runs and Dreamland put up 123 runs in 20 overs losing seven wickets. In reply Bhanubhakta were all out for 77 runs in 13 overs. Raju Das completed five-wicket haul while demolishing Bhanubhakta. Das was adjudged man-of-the-match.
