Apart from Ghazals, which is his forte, Babbar has also been extensively involved in singing, directing and producing classical music, film songs, ballets, bhajans and has also acted in few films and TV Serials.
The maestro who was inducted in “The Contemporary Who’s Who” by the American Biographical Institute in 2004, will be hitting the stage courtesy Embassy of India, on the occasion of 62nd Republic Day of India. Accompanying Babbar will be his daughter Vani Babbar. The father and daughter duo will be entertaining at an exclusive, invitation-only, event at Army Officers’ Club Auditorium, Wednesday, January 25.
Appreciated world over, the duo is planning on laying out a variety of genres, including traditional Taranas, Classical Tappe, Ghazals, Geets, Punjabi, Sufiana Qalaam and Duets.
