RPP Chief Whip Shahi accuses Maoist Centre activists of setting fire to Herbs Processing and Production Center

Shahi also stated that RPP senior Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra and party General Secretary and Member of Parliament Dhawal Shumsher Rana are being imprisoned under false charges and should be released immediately.

KATHMANDU, April 8: Gyanendra Shahi, the chief whip of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP),  has accused Maoist Centre activists of setting fire to the Herbs Processing and Production Center.


Speaking at a public meeting held by the RPP in Balkhu on Tuesday, Shahi made the allegation. "They accused the royalists of committing violence. It has now been proven who were the culprits. It has been confirmed that the Maoist cadres set fire to the herbal medicine processing center.”

Shahi also stated that RPP senior Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra and party General Secretary and Member of Parliament Dhawal Shumsher Rana are being imprisoned under false charges and should be released immediately. He said, “I want to appeal to the government, do not try to imprison anyone with false charges. The false charges should be withdrawn immediately.”
