The draft bill had promised to ensure due representation of Madhesi people in security agencies and other state organs.
"I told the prime minister that my party will not join the government should the four conditions are not met," Yadav told Republica after the meeting.
The present coalition is desperately wooing Yadav´s party to give it an all-inclusive look since it has been levelled ´exclusive left government´.
Further elaborating the conditions, Yadav said, "There should be credible evidence that the constitution will be drafted by May 28 deadline. In addition, there should be a time-bound plan of action to complete the integration and rehabilitation of the Maoist combatants. Similarly, the condition states that the number of PLA to be integrated into security agencies be fixed and modality of integration finalized.
When asked how prime minister responded to the conditions, Yadav said, "He told me that he would hold an internal discussion."
Meantime, in another query, he said that his party would settle the portfolio issues only after the conditions are met.
