SINDHULI, May 16: CPN (Maoist Center) has won the race for the chief of Marin Rural Municipality in Sindhuli district.
Maoist Center candidate for chief of Marin Rural Municipality Paniraj Bamjan has won the election with 4802 votes defeating his closest rival UML candidate Ek Bahadur Rana who garnered 1866 votes.

Likewise, Moist Center candidate for deputy chief of the same rural municipality Sangita Majhi has defeated her closest rival UML candidate Sharmila Majhi with 4535 votes, compared to 1977 votes secured by the latter.
In addition, all the Maoist Center candidates who fielded their candidacies for the position of Ward Chairperson have been elected in Marin Rural Municipality.
