HUMLA, Dec 14: Humla was the only Himalayan district left to be linked with a national road network. It has now been connected to a road network. Three rural municipalities – Tanjakot, Adanchuli and Sarkegad-- have been connected with the national road network.
A 27 kilometers long track from Kawadi, Humla’s border, to Balukuna through Kalikot, Bajura was completed by the Army.
Humla connected by road network
The road came into operation after the Nepal Army approved the road to be used for the most essential services. Vehicular movements will be smooth after the road is handed over to the Department of Road. Millions of people from Mugu and Humla will be benefitted by the road.
