KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said school education should be linked to industrial skills.
Addressing the national Council of All Nepal Unified Teachers Association on Wednesday, Minister Sharma argued that students could be oriented on agriculture, farming as well as gardening. Educated human resources help increase production, he added.

The Minister further stated that community capital would be created by focusing the industrial activities in school, which he argued would be the basis of socialism.
"Now, we have to establish mega schools, focusing on technical education. Physical infrastructures should be developed where thousands of students can be taught at the same place,” he mentioned.
Also the Standing Committee member of the CPN (Maoist Center), Minister Sharma said that the party did a blunder by giving up the 'prachandapath'. "We decided to give up 'prachandapath' while coming in the peace process. It was our blunder", Minister Sharma stated.
