Light rain forecast in hilly regions of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The Westerly wind has its general impact on the country at present. The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces, and it is partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces due to the influence of this system, the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) said.

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The Westerly wind has its general impact on the country at present. The weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki provinces, and it is partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces due to the influence of this system, the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) said.


It will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while partly cloudy to generally fair in the rest of the regions toward the afternoon.

There is a possibility of light rain at one or two places of the hilly region of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and of a light snowfall at a few places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of these provinces.


The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy to generally fair in the rest of the regions of Province 1 and Gandaki Province tonight.


Somewhat warm has been experienced in the Kathmandu Valley due to warm sunshine since the morning. The minimum temperature in the Kathmandu Valley was 6.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum 18.2 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours, the Division said.a
