KATHMANDU, May 23: Nepal’s spin sensation Sandeep Lamichhane has been drafted by Barbados Tridents for the upcoming season of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in a official program held at London on Thursday.

Lamichhane is set to receive a contract of worth Rs 7.8 million after being picked in the round five of the drafts. He first played the CPL for the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots during the previous season.
Lamcihhane picked seven wickets in five matches for the franchise which finished fourth on the points table. He had earned a contract worth Rs 550,000 after being picked in the round 13 last season.
