Lalitpur, Godawari mayors contract coronavirus

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The mayor of Lalitpur Metropolis, Chiribabu Maharjan was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday.

Mayor Maharjan underwent a PCR test at Patan Hospital after he developed COVID-19 like symptoms.

He is staying isolated at his house at Bukhandol in Pulchowk, Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, mayor of Godawari Municipality, Gajendra Maharjan, too, has contracted coronavirus.
