KATHMANDU, Sept 13: The Academic Club of Little Angels’ College, a part of the Student Council of LACM (Little Angels’ College of Management), is organizing its 4th Inter-College Running Shield Quiz Contest on September 14.

The competition will continue for six days.[break]

The quiz contest is organized every year with the participation of +2 and undergraduate students from different colleges in the Kathmandu Valley.

The Academic Club of LACM Student Council has been organizing the quiz competition for the past three consecutive years.

“It’s the continuation of the tradition of LACM of conducting quiz contests,” said Prashant Dhakal, coordinator of the Club.

“We believe that this program will be a good platform for students from different colleges to interact,” he added.

It is a general quiz competition, and the questions can be from any field. However, 25 percent of the questions will be from sports.

The competition is divided into six rounds: General Round, Buzzer Round, Who am I Round, Gambling Round, Rapid Fire Round, and Audio-Visual Round.

“I think this program will make the students interested in various fields beyond their curriculum, and they will also develop confidence,” said Sushovan Makaju, head of the Club.

The winners of the contest get to keep the running shield for one year and they will have to return it back. A team can keep the running shield permanently only if they win it for three consecutive years.

“We’ve sent proposals to different colleges in the Kathmandu Valley and they can contact us till September 13,” informed Prashant.

There will be three members in every team. The organizers expect about 40 teams to participate in the competition.
