Bridge Int'l College wins the quiz contest at Lifestyle Expo

KATHMANDU, Oct 17: The final round of Intercollegiate Quiz Contest, which was a part of the Lifestyle Expo 2012, concluded on Tuesday with Bridge International College as the winner. Mohit Nepal and Pradip Ghimire from Bridge International College scored 145 points in the finals and won a cash prize of Rs 50, 000.



Ronish Rijal and Pramod Sapkota from Orchid International College scored a total of 130 points and were placed second. [break]



A cash prize of Rs 30, 000 was awarded to the participants. National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) College rounded off the list as second runner ups and bagged the cash prize of Rs 20, 000.



Thirty colleges of Kathmandu had participated in the first round of the competition which took place at Exhibition Hall on October 12. 12 highest scoring colleges went onto the final round after the semi finals on October 13.



VJ Sushil Nepal was seen as the quiz master for the competition which was one of the events under Youth Power pavilion organized by Himal Khabarpatrika.
