KSL to represent Nepal at Int'l Moot Court Competition

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Kathmandu School of Law will represent Nepal at the international rounds of the Jessup competition to be held in Washington from March 27 to April 2. KSL team was finalized for the participation after it won the 2016 Nepal National Rounds of the 57th Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition on Thursday.

This season's competition focuses on the legality of cyber-surveillance and cyber-attacks under international law. The competition in Nepal was organized by the International Law Association Nepal (ILA Nepal), with the support of The Asia Foundation, Nepal.The NSL team had contended with the Nepal Law Campus in the final round. Nischala Arjal, of the KSL team, received the award for the best pleading.

Jessup is the world's largest moot court competition, with participants from over 550 law schools in more than 80 countries.
