KATHMANDU, Nov 25: In the Nepal Premier League (NPL) match against Lumbini Lions, Kathmandu Gurkhas had a poor start with their opener Ben Charlesworth dismissed for a golden duck.
Batting first after losing the toss, Kathmandu lost their first wicket at the start of the second over. Lumbini Lions bowler Sher Mall clean-bowled Charlesworth on the very first ball he faced.

Earlier, Ruben Trampelman had bowled a tight first over, conceding just one run. Kathmandu is currently 1/1 in 1.1 overs, with fellow opener Akash Tripathi yet to score. Lumbini’s early breakthrough has put pressure on the batting side.
