Kamalpokhari gas blast toll reaches four

The explosion occurred on February 6, injuring 14 people. Several others are still receiving treatment.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: The death toll from the gas explosion at the Shandar Mo: Mo outlet in Kamalpokhari has reached four. Police confirmed on Saturday night that one more person had succumbed to injuries.


According to the Kathmandu District Police Range, 25-year-old Tshering Lama, originally from Kavre and currently residing in Kamalpokhari, died while undergoing treatment. Earlier, 22-year-old Pradeep Tamang from Udayapur, 18-year-old Rabin Rai from Makwanpur, and 25-year-old Bhim Bahadur Ghale Magar from Udayapur had also lost their lives.
