Nepal Police on Friday has made public Santosh Karki who was arrested on Thursday on the charge of syringe attack. According to Spokesperson at Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range Hobindra Bogati,  Karki asserted that he used a pointed thin piece of wood to prick the skin of women in the beginning.

Police on Friday morning has arrested the ‘self-proclaimed goddess’ Bishnu Kunwar from Balaju on the charge of torturing a young girl in the name of exorcising evil spirit from her. The incident has come to the fore after a video that shows Bishnu Kunwar torturing a young girl at Bhadrakali temple located in front of the Singhadurbar went viral on social media.

Sajha Yatayat sells 500 smart travel cards

Sajha Yatayat, a cooperative public transportation organisation, has sold 500 smart travel cards so far since it introduced the smart card payment system on March 14 on its buses plying within and outside the Kathmandu Valley.
