KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Raj Bista, has announced that an integrated software system has been implemented to making the foreign employment safe, well-managed and dignified.
Launching the integrated foreign employment information management system and mobile app here on Monday, he said the government was always effortful in making the foreign employment sector smooth, less cumbersome and transparent.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced
He said that the online system has been developed in this sector on the basis of the suggestions taken from the stakeholders regarding addressing the problems seen in it after he assumed office.
The Minister added that this system has been brought into effect after different rounds of discussions with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Population.
Stating that the foreign employment sector of the country was beset with various problems and aberrations since long, he said the government has initiated policy and legal reforms in the sector by addressing the existing problems. RSS
