The new building is being constructed with Indian assistance of Rs 3.16 crore. There are more than 1,400 students in the school. [break]
Also, Ambassador Prasad inaugurated the school building for Shree Saraswati Higher Secondary School, Itahari, which has been built with Indian assistance under Nepal-India Economic Cooperation Program.
Prior to this, India has given assistance of Rs 16.77 crore for infrastructure projects including a nursing campus, roads, and a cold storage facility.
India has also constructed the Manmohan Memorial Polytechnic in Hattimudha VDC of Morang District at a cost of NRs 40 crore, besides gifting seven ambulances and three school buses for use in Morang District.
