School building constructed on Japan's aid

HETAUDA, June 12: A four-room building of Ganesh Primary School based in Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-19, constructed with the assistance of the government of Japan, was handed over to the school.

HETAUDA, June 12: A four-room building of Ganesh Primary School based in Hetauda Sub-Metropolis-19, constructed with the assistance of the government of Japan, was handed over to the school.


The building which was constructed at the cost of Rs 17.73 million was handed to the school. The well-furnished building has separate washrooms for girls and boys, store, principal room, and kitchen room.

At a function presided over by School Management Committee Chair Lal Bahadur Rumba, Sagar Bhandari on behalf of the Construction Service provider handed over the school building key to district project implementation unit chief Badri Bahadur Pathak.


It is expected that the well-equipped infrastructure would help enhance quality education of children of Kuwapani area. Speakers on the occasion have urged all concerned actors to play a constructive role in maintaining cleanliness, proper management and preservation of the building. It is noted that three out of 41 schools, under construction in Makawanpur under the School Reconstruction Project with JICA loan, have been already handed over.
