KATHMANDU, Feb 24: New Baneshwar where the federal parliament building lies is overwhelmed with protestors against the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement.
Members and cadres of various political parties and student activists have gathered at the location to protest against the project in the New-Baneshwor area.
Today’s House of Representatives meeting is set to discuss the compact agreement. In today’s meeting of the HoR, there will be a general discussion among the lawmakers on the MCC agreement which was tabled in the house last Sunday.
