‘I walked all the way to Trishuli just to call my hubby abroad’

NUWAKOT, Oct 5: The Nepal Telecom (NTC) service has been disrupted in 15 VDCs in Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts for the last four days.

NUWAKOT, Oct 5: The Nepal Telecom (NTC) service has been disrupted in 15 VDCs in Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts for the last four days.


The disruption of Nepal Telecom Service has directly hit around 50,000 locals. Those VDCs disconnected from the service are Dhaibung, Lharepauwa, Ramche, Dandagaun, Thulogaun, Saramthali, Hakum, Bhorle  of  Saruwa and Gerkhu, Manakamana, Kaule, Bhalche, Phikuri and Tupche of Nuwakot have been  hit  due to the lack of service.

 According to NTC, the service has been hit due to some problem in the substation based in Fikuri of Nuwakot.


 “I walked all the way to Trishuli just to make a call to my husband abroad. It’s been four days since the Telecom service has been hit,” Biku Lama of Rasuwa bemoaned.
