KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Hotel Annapurna recently organized an event titled 'I am Woman, what's your Superpower?' as part of the hotel's corporate social responsibility. Issuing a press release, the five-star hotel said that the event was organized to help the female students of Mary Ward School.

According to the release, a certain percentage from the proceedings will be donated for the cause. "Marking the upcoming Teej and how important it is to empower women in this patriarchal society, the theme is solely celebrating being a woman," reads the statement.
"Empowering women to participate fully in economic life across all sectors is essential to build stronger economies, achieve internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability, and improve the quality of life for women, men, families and communities," the release added.
