Honda to unveil new bikes at NADA auto show

KATHMANDU, Aug 31: Syakar Trading Company, the authorized distributor of Honda two-wheelers in Nepal, is unveiling two new models of motorcycles during the NADA auto show this year.



On the show, Honda will be launching Honda CB Trigger and Honda Activa-i, said the company in a press statement. Similarly, the company is also launching Honda CBR 250R-repsol edition in an array of new colors during the show.[break]



The NADA auto show that is believed to kick off before Dashain is regarded as one of the lucrative platform for automobiles in the country. Automobile entrepreneurs believe that their products get best exposure among customers at the auto show. “We will unveil the three products at the show so as to offer something new to our customers when they visit our stalls,” said Srijina Jyoti, chief branding officer of the company.



Shrestha further informed that the Honda CB Trigger will only be unveiled at the show but won´t go on sale at the time. “However, the Honda Activa-i and the Honda CBR 250R-Repsol will be available for sale,” Jyoti added.



According to the company, the Honda CBR 250R-Repsol edition is a highly anticipated premium racing bike. “Though already available in the market, the CBR will come up with additional colors, including white. The additional variations in color will enhance the need and demand of premium bikes among costumers, said the company.



Similarly, Honda CB Trigger is Honda´s latest launch in a premium 150cc segment offering. The Trigger offers sporty styling backed by fitting performance from its 150cc engine. According to the company, aggressive and edgy design lines of the bike set it apart from its competitors in the market.

“Honda CB Trigger is basically aimed at young and sport enthusiasts,” said the company. The bike, according to company has Combined Braking System (CBS) for safer and improved braking during ride.



Honda Activa-I, on the other hand, is a personal compact automatic scooter. The company said that the Activa-i -- with wider seat, improved instrument panel, revised chitzel backlights, large storage space and rear tire hugger -- is a complete package of pleasure riding.



Moreover, with its combined brakes in the front and the HET engine, the scooter also promises good power delivery with outstanding mileage.

The company however, said that the prices of these two-wheelers will be unveiled during the auto show itself.
