NADA Auto Show to be held at the end of September
KATHMANDU, May 23: The NADA EV Auto Show, initially scheduled for this year, has been canceled. A meeting of the working committee organized by NADA Associations of Nepal on April 24, however, decided to organize the regular NADA Auto Show.
‘Private transport is not a luxury sector’
NADA has fixed two dates for this purpose and conducted a survey with Auto dealers. Surendra Kumar Upetri, general secretary of NADA, said that as per the survey NADA canceled its plan to organize the EV Auto Show, after it was concluded that two auto shows could not be organized consecutively.
“We discussed and held surveys to organize the EV Auto Show, but according to the discussions and the survey, it would be best to organize the NADA Auto Show towards September end rather than the EV Auto Show,” he said.
Last time, a NADA EV Show was held on September 22, 2022. Similarly, the NADA Auto show was organized in September 2023. Thus, most EVs were presented at the Auto Show.
This year’s NADA Auto Show is expected to be equally remarkable. The entry of new models of EVs has been on the rise.
