Party leaders have agreed to sit for the next meeting after Koirala recuperates. The octogenarian leader has long been suffering from pneumonia and lungs problem.
Sources close to Koirala family said doctors involved in his treatment have advised him to take complete rest for at least three days.
The HLPM meeting scheduled for Thursday was put off till Saturday as UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a member of the HLPM, had expressed inability to attend the meeting owing to the ongoing standing committee meeting of the party.
Two HLPM members -- CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal-- and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, who is an invitee member of the body, had reached to Koirala´s residence for the meeting.
Talking to media persons, Maoist Chairman Dahal said the next meeting of the HLPM will find outlet to the current political deadlock. The date of the next HLPM meeting has not been fixed yet.
