Organizing a press conference on Sunday, the PMO produced a report that 24,083 complaints of the total 24,631 were cleared in 21 months till mid-August.
According to the PMO Secretary Krishna Hari Banskota, 578 of the total 648 complaints this year have been sorted out in the month of Shrawan. [break]
The officials deployed at the Hello Sarkar control room at PMO themselves solved some 44 complaints last month, said Secretary Banskota.
Twenty seven complaints were highly prioritized, 104 were generally prioritized, whereas 473 complaints were considered last month.
Most of the complaints registered from mid-July to mid-August were related to road construction issues. Similarly, complaints regarding power cuts exceeding the scheduled load-shedding came second.
“People have also complained about the increment in onion price,” said Secretary Banskota. Likewise, the students have complained about the delay in publishing the results of university exams.
The mobile network problem, landslide and other common problems were also registered at the PMO control room.
The people have also asked the government to construct bridge over the rivers.
The service seekers further complained that government officials do not return change after they pay the money.
Regarding the education issues, people have complained that the community schools are not providing free education, whereas the textbooks are also not received in time. The public have also complained about the delay in issuing passport despite the fast track system.
The encroachment of public land, lack of overhead bridges and syndicate in public transportation were also among common problems registered at the Hello Sarkar.
Meanwhile, Hello Sarkar officials pursued legal path to address common problems and sought help from police and the district administration office.
The PMO has also claimed that its coordination with universities showed some effects and the results were published after complaints were forwarded.
