Livestock Ministry addresses cent percent plaints filed at Hello Sarkar

KATHMANDU, July 26: Only the Ministry of Livestock Development has addressed cent percent complaints filed by general public at Hello Sarkar program. 


Hello Sarkar program chief Pradyumna Prasad Upadhyay said that out of 160 complaints related to it, the Ministry addressed all the complaints. Complaints related to livestock health insurance and animal husbandry were filed with the Hello Sarkar.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has addressed the least number of complaints. Upadhyay said that out of 123 complaints, the CIAA has addressed only 42 complaints which stand at 34.15 per cent. 


Out of the complaints filed at Hello Sarkar, 81.76 per cent complaints are addressed so far. 

The Hello Sarkar launched its service on 5th November, 2011 has so far settled 56,759 complaints while 7,491 are left to be addressed, according to programme chief Upadhyay. 

Public complaints to be received by the Hello Sarkar are categorised into high priorities, priorities and general groups as per their nature and addressed accordingly. 


Similarly, the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development has responded to 99.83 per cent complaints, the Higher Education Council 98.58 per cent, Nepal Telecommunications Company 98.41 per cent and the Tribhuvan University has addressed 97.82 percent. 

According to Upadhyay, it is prodding up the respective ministries and bodies concerned to address the remaining grievances.
