KATHMANDU, Dec 21: The 'Hello Sarkar' – a complaint redressal government mechanism – has so far addressed 80.77 percent of the total complaints registered during the past six years.
Section Officer at Hello Sarkar Office Ram Chandra Koirala shared the information that a total of 59,186 public complaints lodged at Hello Sarkar during the period were addressed.
The mechanism has recorded the registration of total 67,613 public complaints.
Twitter, Facebook push up complaints at Hello Sarkar
It may be noted that former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai had brought into effect the Hello Sarkar to listen to public complaints some six years back in 2012.
It is yet to address remaining 8,427 complaints. According to the Office, 2,586 complaints among them are to be addressed soon.
The Hello Sarkar has been addressing the complaints received by putting them into three categories – high priority, priority and general. Mos of the complaints received so far are related to development works, health, education, employment and administration.
The general public can lodge their complaints by dialing up 1111 and the employee there forward them to the concerned office.
