KATHMANDU, April 2: The Supreme Court on Thursday said that it would conduct a hearing on Sunday on the government application seeking nullification of the March-24 order staying the retirement of the eight brigadier generals of Nepal Army.

Justices Rana Bahadur Bam and Sushila Karki fixed the date of hearing on Thursday after an initial hearing on the application filed by the then Defense Secretary Baman Prasad Neupane last Thursday.

The government moved the apex court with the application after the Supreme Court stayed the retirement of the eight brigadier generals last Wednesday.

Similarly, the bench also ordered the brigadier generals to send their lawyers to the court for the Sunday´s hearing.
