KATHMANDU, Dec 17 : A woman died during treatment after a truck hit a motorcycle in Balkhu, Kathmandu, on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred in Kathmandu Metropolitan City–14 when a truck with the registration number Ga 2 Kha 2039 collided with a motorcycle (Ba Pra 02-061 Pa 5847). The woman riding pillion on the motorcycle, 26-year-old Roshika Neupane of Nuwakot, sustained serious injuries and later died while undergoing treatment at Vayodha Hospital in Balkhu, according to Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi.

“The truck hit the motorcycle this morning, leaving Neupane critically injured. She died during treatment today,” SP Subedi said.
The motorcycle rider, who was also injured in the crash, is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital. Police have taken the truck driver into custody and are conducting further investigation into the incident.
