Guardian association to agitate against PABSON decision

KATHMANDU, March 15: The Guardians Association Nepal has warned of next phase agitation from Sunday if the Private and Boarding Schools Organization, Nepal´s (PABSON) declaration of not implementing the Institutional School Criteria and Operation Directives- 2069 BS issued by the Ministry of Education was not withdrawn.



The Guardian´s Association had erected black flags by drawing attention along with one-week ultimatum from March 11 against the decision of PABSON.[break]



Association Chairman Suprabhat Bhandari said PABSON has called them to talks today and if there is no agreement, there will be strong agitation and it has also been informed to the Ministry of Education.



The guardians were angered as the PABSON said it would not abide by it even if they were in the draft task force. The Department of Education has issued circulars to implement the directives across the country.
