KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed satisfaction over the government's performance during its first 100 days. Referring to this period as the 'honeymoon days' for the government, Deuba asked rhetorically, "Has anything bad happened?" He added, "These 100 days are known as honeymoon days, and the government has done well. It is functioning effectively—what issues are we discussing?"

Deuba also said that the government has made significant strides in search and rescue efforts during the recent floods and landslides. "Overall, there’s been commendable work during these six months," he said.

He also said that the Oli government will continue for its full two-year term with the support of the NC. "He will continue his two-year term, while I will serve for one and a half years. We will adhere to the agreement," he said.

When questioned about any dissatisfaction within the NC regarding the government, Deuba responded, "Where is this dissatisfaction? Who claims that the party is unhappy? Minor issues may arise within a party, but that is typical. There is nothing significant to report."
