The recovered gold was brought to the Mint Division of NRB.

60.79 kg of gold was weighed in the division on August 14. The day after it was weighed, the gold was melted and made into a biscuit shape. The quality of the gold was confirmed to be 999 pure gold.

The gold was weighed after the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) wrote a letter to the division.

On July 18, the Department of Revenue Investigation recovered the shoe-break containing the gold outside the airport which was released from the customs office of the airport.
