Gold price increases for second consecutive day breaking record

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The price of gold has increased again today in the domestic market. The price of gold, which had risen by Rs 800 the previous day, has gone up again for the second consecutive day.

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The price of gold has increased again today in the domestic market. The price of gold, which had risen by Rs 800 the previous day, has gone up again for the second consecutive day.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 100 per tola today, reaching Rs 153,200 per tola. This is the highest price recorded to date.

Previously, on August 28, the price of gold had reached an all-time high. On that day, the price of fine gold had increased by Rs 800, reaching Rs 153,100 per tola.


On the contrary, the price of silver has decreased today. The price of silver has dropped by Rs 25 per tola and is being traded at Rs 1,830 per tola.
