KATHMANDU, March 12: Gold prices, which have been consistently high, remain steady at Rs 126,000 per tola for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. Despite a slight decline in the international market, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations reports that the domestic trading price has remained stable.
The price of fine gold on last Thursday and Friday was Rs 125,000 per tola. With an increase of Rs 1,000 per tola, the gold price became Rs 126,000 per tola on Sunday. Since then, the price has not increased or decreased until Tuesday.

So far this month, the price of gold has increased by Rs 8,300 per tola. At the beginning of the current month, the trading price of fine gold was Rs 117,700 per tola.
Similarly, the price of standard gold is also stagnant at Rs 125,400 per tola on Monday and Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the price of silver per tola is Rs 1,485. This is an increase of Rs 10 per tola. On Sunday and Monday, the price of silver per tola was Rs 1,475. Last Wednesday and Friday, it was traded at Rs 1,470 per tola.
Gold is being traded at $2178.54 per ounce in the international market on Tuesday. It was sold at $2177.92 on Monday and at $2178.8 per ounce on Sunday.
Silver rose to $24.46 an ounce today. It was traded at $24.3 per ounce on Monday and $24.31 on Sunday.
