Gold price hits new record, rises to Rs 159,200 per tola

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: The price of gold has set a new record for the second consecutive day on Monday. The price of gold has again increased by Rs 400 per tola in the domestic market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, fine gold has been priced at Rs 159,200 per tola. This is the highest ever price of gold recorded in the domestic market. On Sunday, fine gold was priced at Rs 158,800 per tola.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stagnant at Rs 1,920 per tola on Monday.
