KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Four ministers from the CPN-UML have resigned from the Gandaki provincial government, following the party’s decision to withdraw from the Nepali Congress-led administration.
The ministers submitted their resignations to Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey on Wednesday.

Those who resigned are Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management Minister Govinda Bahadur Nepali, Industry and Tourism Minister Yashoda Rimal, Health Minister Laxman Bahadur Pandey, and Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives Minister Bhim Karki.
The UML’s Gandaki parliamentary party had decided to withdraw its ministers amid a changing political equation between the UML and the Nepali Communist Party (NCP).
