Interview with N Raja

Ford is being exported to 30 countries across the world but why has Ford selected Nepal to conduct its finishing drive of Discover Smart Drive´s second edition?
Nepal being Figo´s second export market after South Africa, we have decided to conclude the popular program DSD Season 2 here in Nepal. Besides, we have already been able to win the hearts of Nepali customers and have sold 600 units of the car since Figo was introduced in Nepal in October, 2010.
At a time when most companies are introducing cheaper cars in the market, does Ford have any plan for low-cost cars?
We believe in value-for-money rather than providing our customers with cheaper range of cars. There are no plans as such for introducing low range cars. Our customers in Nepal have been benefiting from higher levels of localization, availability of spare parts, and good value-for-money from our vehicles.
Among the three cars - Ford Figo, Fiesta and Classic - which one is in high demand in the market and why?
As we provide good value for cost of ownership, Ford Figo is popular in India as well as Nepal. As we provide unparalleled quality of sales, service and spares (3S) facilities, Ford has become one of the best brands within a short period of time.
