Fire guts five houses in Sindhupalchowk

SINDHUPLCHOWK, Nov 18: Five houses were gutted in a fire that broke out on Friday morning at Kodari of Sindhupalchowk.



The fire that started around nine in the morning was brought under control nearly after two hours. [break]



The house of a local Khadga Bahadur Khadka caught fire after water that had been boiling on the gas stove spilled over the gas cylinder, subsequently spreading the fire to other houses as well, informed Inspector Lokhari Khanal, border check post, Tatopani.



The police are yet to determine the loss that has incurred, however human casualties have not been reported.



The Armed Police, police and locals along with a fire engine from Khasa doused the fire.
