KATHMANDU, Sept 11: The fifth batch of emergency relief supplies provided by China to Nepal arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Friday afternoon.
The supplies were transported aboard a Y-20A large transport aircraft of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force.
Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming and Nepal’s Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun attended the handover ceremony.

The latest batch, tailored to Nepal’s most urgent needs as disaster response efforts continue, includes diesel generators, medical protective masks, mortuary freezers, DNA testing equipment and reagents, and water rescue equipment.
The supplies are expected to support Nepal’s ongoing disaster response and follow-up operations.
