KATHMANDU, Sept 8: The fourth batch of emergency relief supplies provided by China to Nepal arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Tuesday aboard a Y-20A transport aircraft of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force.
Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming and Nepal’s Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun attended the handover ceremony.

According to the Chinese Embassy, the latest consignment includes rescue hovercrafts, stainless steel permanent-magnet flood pumps, spare batteries, mortuary freezers and solar-powered lights.
The supplies have been provided based on Nepal’s urgent needs and are expected to support emergency rescue operations and subsequent relief efforts in flood-affected areas, the embassy said.
