Federal Inclusive Front for withdrawing statute amendment bill

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Federal Inclusive Front on Thursday urged the government to withdraw the constitution amendment bill which is tabled in the parliament.



A meeting of the front held today urged the government to withdraw the bill as it has failed to incorporate all the demands of the Madhes saying that the bill has failed to address the issue of demarcation of the federal states and citizenship.

According to Keshav Jha, leader of the front, it has also urged the government to withdraw the bill and resolve the issue through package deal.


He added that a new bill should replace the   existing bill as it has failed to address the issue of demarcation of the federal states and citizenship.
